Klaviyo Integration Guide

Connect Klaviyo to Briezo to see email marketing revenue alongside your ad spend and ROAS.

What you get

Requirements

  • A Briezo account on the Pro or Agency plan
  • A Klaviyo account with at least one connected store
  • At least one store connected to Briezo via Shopify

How to connect

1Open Settings
Log in to Briezo and click Settings in the left sidebar. Select the store you want to connect Klaviyo to.
2Click Connect Klaviyo
In the store's Email & Marketing section, click the Connect Klaviyo button. You'll be redirected to Klaviyo to authorize read-only access.
3Authorize access
On the Klaviyo authorization screen, review the requested permissions and click Allow. Briezo requests access to your profiles, lists, and events to sync segments and send enriched purchase data.
4Verify the connection
After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Briezo. The Klaviyo row will show a green checkmark with your account name. Email revenue data will appear in your dashboard within a few minutes.

What data Briezo accesses

  • Profiles (read + write) — to sync RFM customer segments from Briezo to Klaviyo profiles
  • Lists (read + write) — to create and update segment-based lists for targeting
  • Events (read + write) — to read email campaign performance and send enriched purchase events back to Klaviyo
  • Accounts (read) — to verify the connection and display your account name
Privacy note: Briezo never modifies your Klaviyo campaigns, flows, or templates. We only read campaign performance data and write customer segment properties and purchase events. All data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How to test

  1. Connect Klaviyo to a store in Briezo Settings
  2. Navigate to the Overview tab — you should see an "Email Klaviyo" badge on your store card
  3. Check the Email Marketing section on the Overview tab for subscriber count, emails sent, open rate, click rate, and email revenue
  4. Navigate to Store → Customers to see RFM segments — these will sync to Klaviyo profiles overnight
  5. In Klaviyo, check any customer profile — you should see Briezo-synced properties (rfm_segment, predicted_ltv) after the next sync cycle

Disconnecting

To disconnect Klaviyo, go to Settings, select the store, and click the Disconnect button next to Klaviyo. This revokes Briezo's access token immediately. No data is deleted from your Klaviyo account — any segments or properties already synced will remain until you remove them manually.

Troubleshooting

  • No email revenue showing — make sure the Klaviyo account is connected to the same Shopify store as Briezo. Revenue attribution requires matching order data.
  • RFM segments not appearing in Klaviyo — segment sync runs overnight. Check back the next day. Ensure the store has at least 10 customers with orders.
  • Authorization failed — try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the issue persists, contact hello@briezo.com.
